It is rightly said that a library is the heart of an institution. A well-stocked library with various sources of information caters to the intellectual needs of its patrons, thus fulfilling the objective of a library by providing the right information to the right user at the right time.

Our school library is well-equipped with print as well as digital sources of information organized with an open access and a suitable infrastructure for browsing and air-conditioned reading area.

The library is having a good collection of about 20,000 documents which include textbooks on various subjects, storybooks, novels in English and Hindi, dictionaries, biographies, encyclopaedia, pop-up and 3D books, atlases, maps, globes, AV sources etc.

To keep its readers updated with current affairs, the library subscribes English as well as Hindi dailies such as The Times of India, Hindustan (Hindi), etc. and periodicals such as Competition Success Review, Physics for You, Chemistry Today, Biology Today, Mathematics Today, India Today (English/Hindi), The Week, Children’s World, Champak (English/Hindi), Yug Nirman Yojana, Hans, Naya Gyanodaya, Reader’s Digest, etc.

To inculcate reading habits among young readers, story books are provided to them along with library visit and story-telling sessions.

It provides borrowing facilities to the teachers as well as students by issuing borrower’s tickets.

Students are encouraged for maximum utilization of library resources, visit book fairs and other libraries of the city and to read voraciously as
